The consensus on the market seems to be that Samsung Galaxy is “iPad killer”. No doubt Galaxy Tab is the first real contender to Apple’s “magical” device but it’s really difficult to beat iPad in terms of sale and
in terms of feature i.e. Well settled App Store. Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch (180 mm) TFT-LCD touch screen, Wi-Fi capability, a 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. It is also equipped with a 3.2 MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera for video calls.

With numerous devices that are expected to debut on the market early next year the window of opportunity for Samsung to sell its product in millions is very small. The only factor now that will decide on its success or failure seems to be the price. Other hand iPad has a well established market for apps and books. iPad pricing is also very attractive, range starts from 499$.
Pricing of Samsung Galaxy S : The Samsung Galaxy Tab in Europe is rumored to cost about 699€ (16 GB model) and 799€ (32 GB model). In the USA the Tab will retail off contract for $499 as predicted. Galaxy tab is expected to be released in Mid November.
